It was another historic year for the First Coast area this past fall as the area crowned two state champions this season including back-to-back state titles for Raines and a first ever state title for Mandarin.
We honor those players that stood out in the 2018 season from Honorable Mention to First Team selections, as we release our 2018 All-Area team over the next week. Without further ado here is our 2018 All-Area Small School Honorable Mention Offensive team.

Our Small School All-Area team is comprised of Class 4A-Independent players from: Andrew Jackson, Raines, Fernandina Beach, West Nassau, Wolfson, Bradford, Interlachen, Keystone Heights, Baldwin, Episcopal, Providence, St. Joseph, Eagle’s View, North Florida Educational Institute, University Christian, Hilliard, Union County, Crescent City, Bishop Snyder, Cedar Creek, Christ’s Church, St. Johns Country Day, Florida Deaf.
Honorable Mention (Offense)
Randolph Myers (Sr., WR), Andrew Jackson
Myers hauled in 13 catches for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns as well as accounting for 14 tackles, 2 interceptions and 4 pass deflections on defense.
Ricky Dove (Jr., ATH) Andrew Jackson
Dove accounted for nearly 500 yards of offense and 3 touchdowns on offense and 40 tackles and a forced fumble on defense.
Andrew Young (Sr., OL) Andrew Jackson
Four year starter and leader of line that paved the way for Tigers playmakers Jaquan Turner and Artis Maddox.
Demarcus Webb (So., OL) Andrew Jackson
Just a sophomore, the 6-2, 237 pound guard is already showing signs of greatness and will be a top lineman by his senior year.
Daquan Snead (So., OL) Andrew Jackson
Jackson returns 4 of their 5 lineman next year including Snead, a 6-2, 265 pound tackle who is bound for big things.
Christian Sanderson (Jr., ATH) Baldwin
Sanderson did a little bit of everything for the Indians and finished with 824 all-purpose yards and 8 total touchdowns, whether it was at tailback, receiver or kick returner.
Adrien Ciena (Sr., QB) Bradford
The transfer from Keystone Heights, switched to an offense that was a lot more balanced and it showed finishing 60 of 120 for 775 yards with 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
Erric Smith (So., RB), Bradford
Smith had a coming out party for the Tornadoes which will make opposing defensive coordinators very nervous after accounting for 813 yards and 5 touchdowns on 124 carries.
Kareem Mixson (Sr., RB/LB ), Cedar Creek
While no stats were available, having seen the Saints play in person, it was clear who the two playmakers were in Mixson and Brazle. Mixson was the go-to-guy on offense with blazing speed, including a two touchdown and block field goal effort against Bishop Snyder.
Jonathan Brazle (Jr., RB/DB), Cedar Creek
While no stats were available, having seen the Saints play in person, it was clear who the two playmakers were in Mixson and Brazle. Brazle did it all for the Saints on both sides of the ball including am unbelievable game against Bishop Snyder, where he accounted for two rushing touchdowns on offense and two interceptions on defense.
Chase Boyd (Jr, ATH), Fernandina Beach
There were not a lot of positives for the Pirates this year but one guy who put on a show was Boyd, who accounted for 1,413 all-purpose yards and 4 touchdowns.
Caleb May (Sr., K/P), Fort White
May had plenty of opportunities to score and finished 31 of 39 in point after attempts.
Anthony Briseno (Jr., K), Keystone Heights
Briseno was nearly automatic for the Indians connecting on 24 of 25 point after attempts
Jacorey Rivers (Jr., ATH), Raines
Rivers came up big for the Vikings on offense whether it was at quarterback or receiver, accounting for 1,005 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, including 110 rushing and 50 yards passing in the state title game over Cocoa. Under center, Rivers was 20 of 49 for 254 yards and 4 touchdowns, while running for 457 yards and 1 touchdown on 51 carries. At receiver, Rivers caught 15 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns.
Juan Hutson (Jr., OL), Raines
Clutch lineman that helped pave way for potent Vikings offense.
Bryant Maddox (Sr., OL), Raines
Clutch lineman that helped pave way for potent Vikings offense.
Juan Young, Jr., OL, Raines
Three of the five starting lineman return including Young which should pave the way for another potent year.
Matthew Kelley (Jr., WR/DB), St. Johns Country Day
Kelley hauled in 30 catches for 510 yards (17.0 y.p.c.) and 5 touchdowns, along with 21 tackles and an interception.
Kaleb Crandell, Sr., West Nassau
Crandell was a versatile player on offense for the Warriors coming up clutch at tailback, accounting for 648 all-purpose yards and 13 total touchdowns, including 496 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.
Kevon Bryant (Sr., QB/DB), Wolfson
With an extremely thin roster, Wolfson relied on several of its players to play both ways and Bryant was one of the best finishing 21 of 54 for 549 yards and 4 touchdowns on offense, to go along with two interceptions including a pick-six on defense.
Clyde Holland (Jr., ATH), Wolfson
Holland was the go-to-guy on offense for Wolfson, accumulating 994 yards and 8 touchdowns on 123 carries to go along with 68 tackles on defense.
