It was another historic year for the First Coast area this past fall as the area crowned two state champions this season including back-to-back state titles for Raines and a first ever state title for Mandarin.
We honor those players that stood out in the 2018 season as we release our 2018 All-Area team over the next two weeks. Without further ado here is our 2018 All-Area Small School Third Team Offensive team.
Our Small School All-Area team is comprised of Class 4A-Independent players from: Andrew Jackson, Raines, Fernandina Beach, West Nassau, Wolfson, Bradford, Interlachen, Keystone Heights, Baldwin, Episcopal, Providence, St. Joseph, Eagle’s View, North Florida Educational Institute, University Christian, Hilliard, Union County, Crescent City, Bishop Snyder, Cedar Creek, Christ’s Church, St. Johns Country Day and Florida Deaf.

Third team
QB – Zack Blair, (Sr.), Episcopal
Blair capped a solid senior year finishing 69 of 135 for 1,185 yards with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season.
QB – Dylan Blair, (Sr.), Fort White
After transferring from Columbia, Blair finished his high school career finishing 130 of 254 for 1,847 yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions this season.
QB – Dallas Mumford, (Sr.), West Nassau
West Nassau didn’t throw much but when they did Mumford delivered finishing 45 of 97 for 650 yards with seven touchdowns and just three interceptions.
RB – Ty Friedlin, (Jr.), Keystone Heights
Behind an massive offensive line, Friedlin and teammate Nick Channell ran for nearly 2,000 yards combined, as Friedlin accounted for 909 yards and 11 touchdowns on 160 carries.
RB – Cadence Lamp, (Jr.), Christ’s Church
Lamp just missed a 1,000 yard season, accounting for 968 yards and 10 touchdowns on 148 carries, finishing with 1,182 all-purpose yards and 12 total touchdowns.
RB – Kevin Williams, (Jr.), Crescent City
While Naykee Scott and Bernard Wright get all they attention, Williams capped a productive junior year with 605 yards and 10 touchdowns on 93 carries, in addition to 82 tackles on defense and 12 total touchdowns.
WR – Matt Drayton, (Sr.), Raines
With several weapons to choose from, Drayton still managed a respectable 31 catches for 421 yards and six touchdowns this season.
WR – Richard Coffey, (Sr.), Baldwin
Coffey was the No. 2 receiver for the Indians and came up big at times for Baldwin accounting for 23 catches for 555 yards and five touchdowns.
OL – Noah Crews, (Sr.), Baldwin
A 6-3, 310 guard, Crews was one of the main reasons why the Indians offense was so potent providing protection to Gavin Screws.
OL – Matt Jaroroszeski, (Jr.), Christ’s Church
Huge reason for the Eagles offensive outpour was the play of Jaroroszeski, who graded out at 98 percent allowing only two sacks on the season.
OL – Trey McCullough, (So.), West Nassau
A 6-5, 305 tackle, McCullough was a huge reason for the Warriors successful high powered option based offense.
OL – Antonio Murphy, (Jr.), Crescent City
A 6-1, 300 tackle, Murphy was responsible for creating holes and providing protection for the Raiders playmakers Naykee Scott, Bernard Wright and Kevin Williams.
Utility – Javon Wright, (Sr.), West Nassau
Wright accounted for 1,150 all-purpose yards and 11 total touchdowns after rushing for 750 yards and nine touchdowns on 85 carries, while also hauling in 19 catches for 261 yards and two touchdowns.
Utility – Jeremiah Vaughn, (Sr.), Bradford
Vaughn accounted for 1,197 all-purpose yards and 10 total touchdowns after accounting for 690 yards and nine touchdowns on 104 carries, 22 catches for 169 yards and 1 touchdown receiving and 345 return yards.
Kicker – Alex Perez, (Sr.), Union County
Perez was quite clutch for the Tigers converting 17 of 19 point after attempts and 2 of 3 field goals this season.
