We concluded our All-Area team recently and now its time to release our small school accolades, including our Player and Coaches of the Year for each classification.
Class 4A

Our Class 4A Player of the Year capped his high school career by becoming the schools all time leading rusher with over 4,000 career yards after accounting for 1,842 yards and 21 touchdowns on 207 carries as well as 214 receiving and 4 touchdowns to finish with 28 total touchdowns.

1 Gavin Screws (Sr., QB) Baldwin
Our Class 3A Player of the Year capped off an amazing career finishing 158 of 281 for 2,562 yards, 27 touchdowns and 6 interceptions leading the Indians to their first ever home playoff game. Screws, who has already enrolled at Troy, was a three year starter at Baldwin.

85 of 157 for 1,175 yards, 12 touchdowns, 6 interceptions; 90 carries for 644 yards and 13 touchdowns; 1819 All-Purpose yards, 14 total touchdowns

51 catches for 1,084 yards and 17 touchdowns (21.3 y.p.c.); 4 interceptions, 3 pick sixes
4 Stanley Maxwell (Sr., RB) Fort White

Our Class 2A Player of the Year, Jaedon Stoshak was the go-to-guy for the Christians accounting for 800 receiving and 8 touchdowns at receiver and an area leading 10 interceptions and 3 pick sixes on defense.
2 Ridge Jacobs (So., QB), University Christian

3 Jakobe Lavoile (Sr., RB) Eagle’s View
149 carries for 1,369 yards and 14 touchdowns

1 Naykee Scott (Jr., QB/DB) Crescent City
Our Class 1A Player of the Year was jack of all trades for the Raiders finishing 124 for 233 for 1,808 yards and 14 touchdowns as well as 169 carries for 689 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground to go along with 39 tackles and 3 interceptions on defense.
2 Bernard Wright III (Sr., ATH) Crescent City
41 catches for 646 yards and 7 touchdowns (15.8 y.p.c.), 26 carries for 189 yards and 5 touchdowns; 40 tackles, 6 interceptions
3 Keyshawn Young (Sr., RB) Union County
1,032 yards and 6 touchdowns on 162 carries; 36 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 2 interceptions
Independents
1 Jacob Reeves (Sr., DE) Christ’s Church
Reeves is our Independent Player of the Year after setting a school record with 13 sacks this season, to go along with 80 tackles, 8 tackles for loss and 23 quarterback hurries. He was also the recipient of the Sunshine State Conference Scholarship award as well as a first team All-SSAC conference selection.
