The big 7A teams don’t have time to waste any day as they are busy moving through the ranks. Creekside is fresh off of a kickoff classic win against State Champions Mandarin. Fletcher has been consistently rising through the years , how will they hang this year without Jeremiah Payton and Jaylen Mitchell? Buchholz is young and active. Do the Bobcats hold the keys to success this season? Can we look forward to First Coast making a long awaited playoff appearance with weapons like Tyree Saunders and seasoned sophomore quarterback Larry Edwards? Fleming Island’s Coach Damenyum Springs will be stepping out with his first year players whom have grown under his leadership, transitioning from freshmen and now seniors. Atlantic Coast will be transitioning from two year head coach Jimmie Hill to new coach Mike Montemayor. Will the new coaching transition be the spark to light their fire ?

Creekside is looking good coming off a 4-6 season but Coach McIntyre is expecting much more. The team proved to be worthy when they defeated state champions Mandarin 24-20 at the Kickoff Classic. Sieger went toe to toe with quarterback star Carson Beck.  Creekside would not be intimated by their highly decorated opponent. The Knights defense bullied the Mustangs offense scoring two touchdowns off of interceptions. Sieger is quick and balanced while Calhoun is quick and powerful. The Knights motto this year is ‘Give all you’ve got every day’.
