Middle School Football: Kirby Smith’s Spectacular Season Debut vs Ft. Caroline

Kirby Smith MS- It was an in school game in front of all the students, so it was the perfect scene for the Kirby Smith Middle School football team to make a hot season debut, and they did so with a 24-0 win over Ft. Caroline .

Running back Dillion Smith got the scoring off with a great touchdown run of three yards as the Comets went up 8-0. It didn’t take long for the Kirby Smith defense to get involved when on the next series linebacker London Smith intercepted a pass from Ft. Caroline and returned it 35yds for a touchdown. Kirby Smith led 16-0.

In the second half, Kirby Smith continued their offensive onslaught when quarterback Rodney Tinsdale hit wide receiver Nicco Bates on a touchdown pass to balloon the score to 24-0.

It was a great start to the season for Kirby Smith as their football team started off 1-0. They’ll look to go 2-0 this week. Ft Caroline is 0-1 but looks to get on the right track this week.
