Terry Parker hustled to the very end of the match and when they finally got a chance to take their eyes off of the court and to the scoreboard, they saw they won. The Terry Parker Lady Braves won a five-set battle against the Wolfson Lady Wolfpack, the teams went back and forth all night. Wolfson winning sets one and three and Terry Parker winning two, four and five.
The first set was all straight service points for Wolfson and error on Terry Parker’s end. The score at the end of the first set was 25-19 favoring Wolfson. The teams switched sides and it was a completely different Terry Parker team that played the second set, ending the set on ten straight service points beating Wolfson 25-8.
The third set was the closest in score, Wolfson won by 4 points and were led this set by outside hitter Kayla Lyn. The fourth set was all Terry Parker again led by junior outside hitter with several service aces and defense by senior middle blockers Kyla Jackson and Kirsten Seymore. The decisive set went point for point between the two teams, but Terry Parker was able to pull away at the 11th point and Wolfson was never able to catch up.
Wolfson was led by Nocetti and Lyn. The Lady Braves attack was led by Jackson and Sigler, with help from senior setter Myah Kemp and junior defensive specialist Kourtnie Broome.
Terry Parker and Wolfson have home games again heading into next week. Terry Parker (5-7) will play at home against St. Augustine (8-6) on Monday, September 23rd. Wolfson (4-4) will play at home on Monday, September 23rd, against Lee (1-4).
