Orlando FL- The Westside Wildcats from Jacksonville knocked off the Temecula (CA) Wildcats, 31-0, on Saturday to move to the semifinals in the 63rd Pop Warner Super Bowl at Disney World. The Wildcats will face the Palmetto Bulldogs in an all-Florida match-up Wednesday to see who will advanced to Saturday’s national title game.
Westside won the Greater Jacksonville Pop Warner 10U title defeating Grandpark. Westside would then go on to the southeast regional playoffs where they would defeat the St. Cloud Bulldogs, 25-0.
Westside is looking to become the first park since Sweetwater in 2011 and 2012 to repeat as Pop Warner National Champions. Last year, Westside defeated the Far West Jets (AZ) 19-18 to win the Pop Warner Super Bowl in the Junior Pee Wee division. This year’s Wildcats move one step closer, in the National Semifinals on Wednesday, 12/11/19, at 08:30 am to try to duplicate their success.
