Fleming Island

Coach Damenyum Springs has been known to coach up players and get the best out of his athletes on game day. Fortunately for him, he has some standout athletes this year who have natural talent and the ability to make big names in recruitment this year. Check out a few of the top recruiting prospects out of ” The Rock”.

Devin Grind- 2021, DB/ FS , 5’10, 175lbs , Key Offers: Keiser, Lawrence Tech

Grind has the appropriate last name, a grinder in the secondary Devin challenges every ball that comes his way and has good instincts in zone coverage.

Darius Harris- 2021, DB, 6’0, 175lbs. Key Offers: Bowling Green, Army, Air Force, Idaho, Florida Atlantic

Harris is a smooth and fluid DB with great technique and quick reactionary gifts at corner. Some players just have that gift and Harris looks like he was born to play corner.

T.K Kocak-2021 ATH , 5’10 , 200lbs . Key Offers: Navy, Presbyterian College

T.K Kocak was responsible for over 600 all purpose yards for Fleming Island this year. He’s a plug and play guy , where ever you plug him in (QB,RB,WR) watch him play hard and make plays.

Timothy Thomas,- 2021 RB, 6’0, 210lbs, Key Offers: Idaho, Navy, Air Force, UT-Martin

A North-South running back with good straight line speed. Thomas can pound it up the middle, catches screen passes and take them the distance. Lots of muscle in his frame for durability.

*Sam Singleton, RB 2023, 6’0, 185lbs Key Offers: Miami, NC State, Kansas, Central Michigan

It’s no secret he’s already got big time offers this early in his high school career. Singleton has been an impressive athlete at every level, and saw playing time as a freshman at Fleming Island. Easily there fastest player even as a freshman.

Darryl Nesmith– 2021, DB 6’1, 185lbs, Key Offers: Keiser

Great size, length and mobility for Nesmith who can play multiple positions on defense. As a lot of upside with his physical genetics.

Evan Sheets– 2021 OL, 6’2, 280lbs , Key Offers: Huntingdon

A big bull dozing guard who can pull and pancake defenders. The running game ran behind him with gaping holes for Fleming Island.

Jourdan Haynes, 2021 6’1, 250 DE/DT Key Offers: Warner, Lawrence Tech

Good size defensive tackle who can shed his man and put pressure on the quarterback. Deceptively good in the run game, shows good strength for his size.

Tyler Cross 2021 DT 5’10, 215lbs. Key Offers: None

Tyler Cross is one of those players you love to watch on tape. He ‘s physical with a motor and makes a lot of plays on the line. One game that our team covered he registered 3 sacks. Size will deter scouts at defensive tackle, but whoever takes a chance on him gets a fine football player.

Darion Domineck 2023, WR 6’4, 190lbs Key Offers: None

It’s rare that rising sophomores will be on a list but Darion Domineck has size, speed, and shown play making ability already for Fleming Island. He’s going to turn some heads and gain some traction soon.

Top Prospect on the Radar: Sam Singleton
