Without Spring Football, several High School Football athletes around Northeast Florida were unable to showcase their talents and abilities on the field for their teams. With the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the travel for college recruiters, and team’s ability to assemble, some of the top players in Northeast Florida have been unable to be seen. So for the next couple of weeks, Duval Sports will list the Top Players on each team in Northeast Florida.
Ed White
One of the brightest and up coming head coaches in the area is Ed White’s Lawrence Johnson. He has a keen eye for talent and ability to put them in the right positions to produce. Check out some of the top prospects from his program below and from his own words.

-I saw Rivers play for the first time in the jamboree at University Christian last fall and loved what I saw. He was physical and great instincs around the ball. They often times blitzed him from the outside without hesitation.

-Good height for a linebacker and may want to put on 7 to 10 pounds going into his senior year. They rushed him off the edge and he showed ability to separate from large offensive tackles and chase down ball carriers.
