Preseason Rankings

1.Bishop Kenny
It is easy to go with BK at #1 with Back to Back State Finals appearances.  They have Miami signee and arguably the best player in this area Jasmyne Roberts returning to try and bring home the championship this year.

2. Raines
At #2 and 1 of 2 teams possibly standing in BK’s way is Raines. They have a lot of senior leadership returning this year that makes them strong contenders.  Selah Reddick, Ahliah Brown and Jamicia Davis will need to have huge seasons to come out on top of this rivalry.

3.Ribault
At # 3 is Ribault, the other team in the 3 way rivalry with BK and Raines.  This has become one of the best 3 way rivalries in the city with each getting tough wins against each other in recent years.  They also have a lot of senior leadership and UC transfer Nigeria Harkless that gives promise of the continued rivalry.

4.Terry Parker
This pick might surprise some people but they are loaded with talent. They were clicking at the right time last year and almost upset Middleburg for the District Championship. The new point and ranking system left them out of the playoffs last so look for them to be very motivated this year. They are the early favorite to win their district with the uncertainty of Skylar returning from injury for Middleburg this year.

5. Nease

They are very well coached and have a lot of experience coming back this year.  Look for Senior Stephanie Manherz and Junior Sydney Gomes to have big seasons.

On the outside looking in and could possibly crack the top five are:

Oakleaf, Mandarin, St. Augustine, Bartram Trail, Jackson
