There were several cancellations due to Covid last week, and already 5 games have been cancelled this week. It’s going to make for an inconsistent year of play, which is sure to make for an ever changing Top 10!
- Riverside (1-0)- It’s not just the fact that they are winning games, but it’s how they are winning games. Riverside’s defense is making good teams look bad. Last week they held Bartram to 7 points. This week they held Terry Parker to 3 points at home. Gregory Washington Jr registered a sack, and several tackles for loss. Linebacker Lawrence Neolms intercepted a pass as well. The General defense is playing on a championship level right now. The offense aint too shabby either, as Daniel Plummer III tossed a touchdown pass in the game. That’s the formula we predicted in the game and that’s the formula Trinity will use all season which will power them to victories. Even more impressively is that is that Trinity won without their best player. Oklahoma commit Treyaun Webb did not play in the contest. Cam Miller electrified the crowd with a kickoff return for a touchdown for Trinity. They’re home for Ribault (0-1) Friday.

In a tough game versus a tough opponent on the road, after a tough week where the team laid to rest an assistant Coach in Coach Kirk, Eric Weatherly carried them to victory. It’s why he’s special! Bartram faces a tough opponent in Columbus (1-0) this week.
