Matthew Gilbert vs Jeb Stuart
Undefeated Jeb Stuart came into their contest with Matthew Gilbert 12-0 and looking to increase their winning streak. However Gilbert(11-1) was focused and battle tested and ready for the big game. A close contest ended in close calls with the Panthers edging Jeb Stuart 45-42. The win ensures that Gilbert will face Fletcher, a familiar foe from theMiddle School football championship game. Jeb Stuart will face Twin Lakes in the consolation game on Saturday.

Landmark vs Southside
The Landmark Seahawks and Southside Knights competed for a chance to advance to the Middle School Championship Saturday. With such stakes on the line both teams came into the contest looking focused and determined. The Seahawks however, were on another level this night as they defeated their opponent 40-25. Landmark will face Northwestern for the championship on Saturday ans Southside will take on James Weldon Johnson.
