Bolles Enters FHSAA Football RPI Top 10 Rankings

Gainesville Fl- We knew that the Bulldogs would jump in their RPI rankings after their win against previously undefeated Trinity Christian (Jax), and jump they did. Bolles jumped from #21 last week, to #6 this week overall with an RPI of 0.767. They are ranked #1 in 4A. As their schedule picks up with tougher opponents, Bolles climbs the crucial ladder for teams situated in Classes 1A-4A. This is important, because they do not have districts in these classifications.

Teams with the top RPIs in each region of Class1A-4A will advance to the playoffs. On paper, there’s no team in region 1 that looks to test Bolles playoff hopes. Yet, situated just above Bolles in this week’s rankings, is a team they just might see in a potential state championship matchup in Class 4A, the 3-1 Cocoa Tigers. But we’re a long way from that. Check out some of the NE Florida teams in the top 100 of the latest football RPI rankings below.

#32. Trinity Christian (Jax) 5-1,( 2A )- 0.695

#43. Bartram Trail 4-1 (8A) – 0.685

#49. Riverside, 6-0, (6A)- 0.677

#54. Hilliard, 5-0, (1A)-0.670

#61. Ed White, 4-0 (5A) 0.662

#79. University Christian, 3-2, (2A) , 0.638

#80. Nease, 5-1, (7A) -0.636

#87. Union County/ Lake Butler, 5-0 (1A) 0.631

#97. Episcopal, 4-1,(3A), 0.618
