Santa Rosa Beach, Florida- Kade Frew scored three touchdown in the first quarter to lead Bolles to a 55-7 thrashing of South Walton Friday Night. Bolles advances to the Class 4A State Semifinal for the third year in a row. Frew’s first touchdown came on a pass from sophomore quarterback DJ Moore, when Frew caught a swing pass and walked into the end zone
Frew would score again on an 8-yard touchdown run where he used his quickness and speed to make defenders miss giving Bolles a 14-0 lead. Frew would score again from 1-yard out as the Bulldogs bowled over South Walton.
On Defense Spencer Surface would grab an interception in the game. Kavon Miller would grab another interception and Garrison Butler would make a crucial goal-line stop for Bolles as the Bulldogs suffocated the Seahawks from every angle on defense.
Moore would showcase his arm hitting Patrick Green on a 94-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Mylers Johnson scored on a touchdown run, Jackie Judge scored twice in the second half, and William Green closed out the scoring effort for Bolles.
A running clock in the second half made for a quick ending to a central time-zone start, as the Bulldogs will be back in time to enjoy breakfast in the morning. But until then, their feast on the Seahawks will have to hold them over for the long ride back to Duval. Bolles (8-2) await their Class 4A opponent after semifinal reseeding.
