Creekside came into this contest atop many people’s rankings around North East Florida and the State. The Prep Zone has them ranked #1 in the state. The Florida Times Union’s Justin Barney has them ranked #1 in their power poll. And after watching them go to work tonight versus Paxon, they’re definitely atop our list of notable teams in the area. Taking a business-like approach to the game today, Coach Marabell’s Knights connected with the ball seemingly at every bat. Dillon Reed and Angel Camacho were two of the many big hitters tonight, as each player contributed their parts. After going up 7-0, Creekside throttled down a bit as Paxon gained a little momentum. Paxon had several chances to score, yet the Knights clamped down as the Golden Eagles stranded runners on 3rd in consecutive innings. In the end it was Creekside 13-0 over Paxon. Paxon falls to 1-10 on the season while Creekside increases their winning streak to 11-0.
