Xavier took care of business against Ole Miss 76-57, but the other three games went all the way to the final buzzer. North Carolina escaped Harvard 67-65 in which Assistant Coach.. I mean Head Coach Roy Williams said his team was ” lucky” to win the game. Arkansas came from behind to defeat Wofford 56-53 in which Wofford missed two potential game tying three pointers at the end of the game. But one of the biggest upsets of the tournament featured Georgia State defeating Baylor 57-56 in which Ron Hunter Jr hit a three pointer leaving just a tenth of a second left on the clock. Head Coach Ron Hunter who is the father of Ron Hunter Jr was so captivated by the moment that he fell out of his chair after the big shot. He would say after the game.. “There are a lot of coaches that get to the (Round of 32) or the Final Four, but when you get to do it with your son and you can watch your son hit a half court shot, I can’t tell you how I feel inside,” Hunter said. “It’s unbelievable. I wish every dad in America could have that opportunity, what I just experienced with my son.”
