It’s no coincidence that the top two defenses the last two years in Northeast Florida have both had linebacker Bryce Kazmierczak on them. The Junior came over from Baker County to Trinity Christian bringing with him fire and fury.

A wrecking ball on defense, he registered 98 tackles and 12 sacks, showing his inate ability to seek out ball carriers, pressure the quarterback, and hit. Kazmierczak helped lead the Wildcats to the Class 5A State semifinal and the #1 defensive ranking in Northeast Florida in 2021.

Now, Kazmierczak is one of the standout defenders on the undefeated Trinity Christian’s top ranked defense in 2022. He’s posted 27 tackles and 4 sacks, while being used in several different positions by Trinity. middle linebacker, defensive end and on special teams his impact has been felt in many other ways. Against Lake City Columbia, Kazmierczak forced a fumble by sacking 3-star quarterback Tyler Jefferson. The play set up a key touchdown for Trinity to pull ahead of the Tigers in a tight game to give them the win.

The very first game of the season, Kazmierczak made an immediate impact recovering a fumble against Ed White that prevented a touchdown and ceased the Commander’s second quarter momentum in that game.
Against Bolles, he made two plays back to back stopping a key drive which prevented the Bulldogs from scoring before halftime. It’s been these game changing plays which have shown up on the field, and on film that has the Duval Sports 3-star rated linebacker making a major impact at Trinity.
