Best Of The Rest
11. Bolles (3-3) The best team outside of the Top 10. A tough schedule has them at .500 but they already beat #9 Mandarin so they have a strong case for being in the Top 10.
Mid-Season Offense: Emmett Grzebin, 529yds, 4 TDs
Defense: Kavon Miller 3 Interceptions.
12. Union County (3-1) Big win over Columiba is the highlight of their season. Only true test next up for them is Hawthorne. They fell to Top 10 team, University Christian in week 1.
Mid-Season Offense :Rayvon Durant 696, 8 TDs.
Defense: Markus Strong, 7 Sacks
13. Oakleaf (3-3) Extremely hard schedule but still a winning record with a big win over Fleming Island. Took Creekside to the brink last night. Still can win district title.
Mid-Season Offense: Drew Ammon 855 yds passing , 6 TDs, Devin Outlaw 479yds rushing, 8 TDs
Defense: DaJon Brown, 52 tackles, 3 sacks
14. Fleming Island (3-1) A former Top 10 team, Fleming Island fell to rival Oakleaf which dropped them significantly. They have a golden chance to get back in the Top 10, with a matchup vs #3 Bartram, #9 Mandarin, #7 Creekside, and Buchholz who is considered the best team in the overall region.
Mid-season Offense: Sam Singleton, 411 yds, 5 TDs
Defense: Abram Wright, 2 interceptions
15.Columbia (2-3)– After a rocky start to the season, the Tigers have settled in and figured out how to use their team of D1 talented playmakers. This team at worst should be 3-2 with their hard schedule including Buchholz and Trinity. They have a good chance of winning out the rest of the season.
Mid-Season offense: Tyler Jefferson, 588 passing, 350 rushing yds, 7 total TDs
Overall: Camden Frier 266 yds Receiving , 2 TDs Rec
16. St. Augustine (3-3) The Jackets have three losses to really good teams in both Florida and Georgia. They’ve played each of them very tough. Playing a tough schedule means alot in terms of a team’s true power rankings.
Mid-Season Offense: Devonte Lyons, 661yds rushing , 9 TDS
Defense: Drake Lusk, 35 tackles, 3 TFL
17. Baldwin (4-1)– Impressive wins over Baker County and Terry Parker. Only loss came to Top 10 Bradford team. This is a scary team that noone wants to play because of their toughness.
Mid-season offense: Jalen Hitchens, 349yds rushing, 4 TDs
Defense: Leon Kirkland, 5 interceptions
18. Bishop Kenny (6-0) Kenny has navigated an undefeated season, however the schedule has not included a Top 10 team as of yet. They face Ponte Vedra (2-3) ths week which will give everyone a clearer picture of both teams as Ponte Vedra is also a “Best of the Rest” team.
Mid-Season Offense: James Resar, 612yds, 5 TDs
Defense: Keegan Sexton, 39 tackles, 4 sacks
19. Sandalwood (2-3)- The Saints are finally finding themsleves and their roles on offense. The questions at QB seem to be behind them, now it’s time to gel as one team. The talent is definately there for them to run the table the rest of the way.
Mid-season offense: Jordan Bean, 749yds, 4 TDS
Defense: Sayvion Blount, 2 sacks , 20 tackles, 3 TFL
20. Ponte Vedra (2-3) – A good team with some close tough contests this year. Fell to Flagler Palm Coast on a last second field goal on Monday. But has beaten Middleburg and Menendez, two good quality teams. The Sharks can make lots of noise if they defeat undefeated Bishop Kenny.
Mid-season Offense: Ben Burk, 683 yds passing 6 TDs
Defense: Trooper Price, 62 tackles
21. Middleburg (2-4)- The Broncos started the season slow, as they went through a gauntlet of good teams. After 2 wins in a row, Coach Wolfe is motivating his team to be over .500 in the second half of the season.
Mid-Seson Offense: TJ Lane, 693 yds, 5 TDs
Defense: Austin Cruce, 55 tackles
22. First Coast (4-1)– A big 36-6 win over Englewood told us alot about this resurgent roster. Going winless last year, Coach Marty Lee has playmaker this year who have wins over Ocala Forest and Riverside. A shutout to Kenny in week 1 puts their ranking in perspective however.
