The Providence girl’s basketball team won a District Championship last year and surprised a lot of people by making it all the way to the Regional Finals in District 3A. It was no surprise to them though, as they had an experienced squad, and had been building up to this point to become a championship caliber team.
The Stallions return most of that same experience with seniors.

They hope to end their senior season with a bang by making it to the Final Four and bringing a championship back home to Jacksonville. They are led by an experienced coach in Gigi Bistrow, who picked up her 500th win last season. They are one of the best teams in Northeast Florida, who have been under the radar. However, after such a successful season in 2021-2022, this year they won’t sneak up on anyone in 2022-2023.
