Jacksonville Fl- Taliah Scott played no games Monday night as she joined the 2K club, scoring her 2,000th point of her high school career. Scott, who scored 33 points in St. John’s Country Day’s 67-42 victory over Terry Parker, now has 2,024 points for her career. She became the first St. John’s Spartan to achieve the mark.

Scott was the leading scorer in Florida last year at St. John’s Country Day. They got a huge boost from the junior transfer who is one of the best players in the nation. Scott averaged 32.3 ppg at one point, which was 8th in the nation. She also averaged 6.2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3.4 steals. A complete all around player, she attended the 2021 USA Women’s U16 National Team Trials and made the Duval Sports All Area Team.

In her sophomore year she led Oakleaf high school to it’s first Final 4 appearance in school history. She averaged 23.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 4.2 apg and 2.6 spg. She scored 20+ points 15 times on the season. She scored 30+ points six times last year at SJCD, on her way to 2,000 points today. Just an incredibly dominant baller on the court, Scott is an ESPN five-star prospect in the Class of 2023, and committed to Arkansas in September 2021.
