The Explosive Southern Pigskin Football camp was held at Sheffield Park, home of Jacksonville’s youth football team The Oceanway Buccaneers on Saturday April 4th 2015. Explosive Sports Training and Southern Pigskin put together a dynamic camp which featured current and former NFL , and College players coaching youth and prep players from around the South East. ESPN and Southern Pigskin covered the event live on ESPN Radio. Coach Dundee Dilworth headed the camp and was very excited about the players and coaches in attendance. “We’ve got great coaches here today, and the kids are working hard to get better”. In the morning session, youth players were introduced to football fundamentals and techniques to acclimate them to the game of football. In the afternoon session, Prep players honed their skills and showcased their talents, competing for the distinction of being named Top Performer for their position. First Coast athlete Miles Kelly received the top performer award for Wide Receivers.

Wide Receiver Top Performer: Miles Kelly, Class of 2016 (First Coast)
The two things that separated Kelly from a large group of wide outs in Jacksonville were his route-running and fundamentals. Kelly is a strong athlete with a very good frame, and he knows how to use his body in order to get open. He has a strong grasp on the nuances of the position, and is also fast enough to create issues with his athleticism. Kelly is somewhat of a late developer in terms of recruiting, but he appears to be in for a strong senior campaign.
