F- Jaylen Robinson, Providence, 6’6, Junior, Avg 13.1 ppg

F- Isaac Taveras, NFEI, 6’7, Senior, Avg 22.1 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 3.7 SPG <—-Click the link to view profile

Isaac Taveras is a freak-ish athlete on the court, able to control the tempo of a game in so many ways by scoring and collapsing defenses to him. He can jump out of the gym, and compliments that athleticism with style and clutch play making ability. He didn’t finish the season for NFEI, however in his 13 games he showed why he is arguably the best player in the area. He averaged 22.1 points per game, and was a huge reason NFEI got off to a fast start and gained confidence to go all the way back to the Final 4. The previous year Taveras went off in the Final 4 scoring 44 points against Sagemont.

Taveras was voted the Duval Sports Boys Basketball Player Of The Year!

C-Kennan Johnson, San Jose Prep, 6’8, Senior, Avg 9.0 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 2.4 BPG Click here to view profile!

The ultimate team player, Johnson has the athletic ability to take over a game. Yet what makes him special is his coachability to play within the system to help his team achieve success. No better example of this was when he helped lead San Jose Prep to the win at Prep Nationals in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Johnson was active all over the court, coming away with co-MVP honors. Every team needs a “big man” and at 6 foot 8 he can not only play down low, but he is probably the best shooting big in the area knocking down eight 3-pointers . He committed to Erskine College, and with his 6 foot 8 frame is sure to be a dream come true for college coaches.

Second Team

G- Karl Knighten Jr, Matanzas, 6’0,Senior, Avg 26.6ppg

The Polk State signee finished his amazing senior year ranked #7 in the state in scoring at 26.6 points per game. The 5’11 Guard is an explosive scorer, who uses his strong frame to get to the rack. Many tried to stop him, but couldn’t.

The second leading scorer in the entire state is Mandon Seapoe of First Coast Christian. Averaging 29.3 points per game, Seapoe can score the basketball relentlessly. He can run the fast break on offense and pressures consistently while maintaining position on defense.

SG- C.J Hall, Hilliard, 6’2, sophomore, Avg 20.8 PPG

If you turn on the tape and look at his game, there’s no mistaking why he’s listed here. Confident, aggressive, and athletic, the sophomore jumps out of the gym at just 6 foot 3. Was one of the leading scorers in the area for a reason. Look out for this dynamic star in the years to come.

G- Anakin Brown, Bolles, 6’3, Junior, Avg 19.9 PPG

Anakin Brown showed time and time again just how talented he was for Bolles. He stood out as the most athletic player on the court with the ability to carry the team offensively. Averaging 20 points per game in a pass first system was extremely impressive. It’s the reason he’ll be following in the foot-steps of his father, former NBA star Dee Brown as he committed to play at JU.

G- Orel Gray, University Christin, 6’0, Senior, Avg 19.5 PPG <— Click To View Profile

What can’t Orel Gray do? Already committed to Famu in fotball, Gray showed that he is one of the best basketball players in the area as well. He solidified himself on this list by exhibiting maximum effort that translates from the football field to the basketball court. He averaged nearly 20 points per game for the Christians.

CCameron Coachman, Oakleaf, 6’8, Senior, Avg 9.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 5.8 BPG

Everyone in the city knew where the block party was going to be. It was over in Oakleaf, as center Cameron Coachman led the area in blocks to the tune of 5.3 per game.
