Guss Scott

It’s hard to believe that twenty years ago, the name Trinity Christian was not synonymous with championship football in Northeast Florida. That all changed with one player, Guss Scott.  A two-way standout (RB/DB) who was a three-year starter, Scott lead the Conqueors to a State Runner Up in 1999. He was named to Florida Times-Union Super 24 Team and was a second-team All-State (2A) selection as a running back. A true football player, Guss had 92 tackles with five interceptions as a senior on defense while also rushing for 1,920 yards and 22 touchdowns as a runningback.

Yet what has made Scott one of the most impactful persons of the 21st century in Northeast Florida is his commitment to coaching and mentoring high school football players at Trinity Christian, Baldwin, NFEI, and with his sports program Pro Impact which helps with sports recruitment and fields 7 on 7 teams. He’s a great one that gives back to the community. He is currently an assistant coach at Trinity Christian.
