This is the best collection of quarterbacks this area has seen, and it’s a testament to the parents, coaches, and trainers in the area.

What they saw in Hewett is what we all saw going into his sophomore season.
An accurate, big armed quarterback, who confident beyond his years whose able to fit it in tight windows. With 21 D-1 offers, Hewlett is poised to be one of the best passing quarterback’s St. Augustine has ever seen.

Passing for 1,656yds, 16 TDs: and Rushing 466yds, 6 TDs, James Resar has struck fear in the hearts of defensive coordinators for several years. He’s been the focal point of Biship Kenny’s offense without many weapons around him, but he has still excelled at a high level.
The 6’4, 199lb Iowa commit completed nearly 67% of his passes in 2022. He is a top-tier dual threat quarterback that is used as a pimary runner on some designed plays. He is quite possibly thefastest quarterback in the area, running a 10.67PR in the 100m. He is rated a 4-star by 247 Sports.

Last week #1
Week #1 Home vs Ed White– Colin Hurley led the Conquerors over the Commanders tossing 3 TDs, with 1 Int and eclipsing the 200 yard passing mark. Ed White’s defense is extremely tough, so these are impressive numbers for the elite QB.
The highest recruited quarterback in Northeast Florida the last decade is Trinity’s Colin Hurley. A consensus 4-star recruit by every national recruiting site. Hurley has been recruited by every major power 5 program in the country. Coaches and scouts have been impressed with Hurley’s arm strength, accuracy, and pocket presence, and if you’d seen him play you know why he’s much sought after.
As a 2x state champion, Hurley is one of very few quarterbacks that have led his team to the mountain top as a freshman in high school. He was a backup on Trinity’s 2020 state chapionship team, but got considerable snaps as an 8th grader.
His sophomore year saw him lead Trinity deep into the playoffs, passing for 1,444 yards, and 15 TDs in just 9 games (including playoffs) while overcoming a mid-season injury. His toughness is another attribute that defines him, while adding escapability to his game this past season.
#4. QB 2024 Rodney Tisdale Jr– First Coast, 6’2.5, 173lbs Western Kentucky Commit<– Click to view player profile
Last Week #7
Week 1 Away vs Bishop Kenny- Tisdale scored all 3 touchdowns for First Coast and all 3 were touchdown passes. A screen pass of 40yds, a corner fade on the run for 20yds, and a 80yd pass on the run while evading pressure. Very Impressive!
Passing for 1,873yds, and 18 TDs (Western Kentucky Commit) Rodney Tisdale Jr has revived First Coast football and “Marty Ball”. Coach Marty Lee is able to toss the ball around as he did with QB Deandre Johnson (USFL). One indicator of a great quarterback is his ability to shine light on everal receviers, and Tisdale has done that at First Coast.
Standing tall and naturally spinning the ball with accuracy to receivers. Five different receivers eclipsed the 200-yard mark on the season, and all five caught touchdowns from the talented quarterback. He has incredible touch on the ball, and a very stong arm for his frame. He is the prototypical drop back quarterback, who is comfortable in the pocket and able to elude rushers when needed.
#5. QB 2025 Tramell Jones Jr, 6’1, 185lbs, Florida State Commit <– Click to view player profile
Last Week #3
Week 1 Home vs Fletcher– Mandarin came out in a run-heavy offense with Jones on the bench. Even with his arm not initially being part of the game plan, Jones still passed for 257 yards and a TD.
One of very few quarterbacks that can come straight from middle school and start at the high school level, and that’s exactly what Tramell Jones Jr did. He stepped right in as a freshman in 2021, and lit up the area in passing. In 2022, he got even better, passing for 2,310 yards, and 23 touchdowns.
He has a very quick release and incredible accelration on his throws. Florida State is going to love this kid, who still has two years left of high school. He currently has 9 D-1 offers, and is a Duval Sports 2022-2023 First Team Prime Time Player.

A 3-star prospect, Cibastian Broughton had great stats at the position. Passing 1,504yds, 16 TDs: Rushing 763 yds, 7 TDs. He has started since his freshman year and show incredible play making ability early. Offers from Bowling Green, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, teams have already noticed his magic on the field.
At 5’10, 160 lbs, the quarterback is undersized for some but perfect for others as we have seen a wave of smaller framed quarterbacks be drafted in the NFL. This is exaclty who this 2025 signal caller reminds you of. A confident player who has big games in his future.
#7. QB 2024 Marcelis Tate 6’3, 190lbs, Fletcher, USF Commit
Last Week #5
Week 1 Away vs Mandarin- Marcelis Tate had an up and down game. The ups showed that he could lead touchdown drives (159yds, 2 passing, 2 rushing TDs) when the pressure was on. The downs showed that he couldn’t do it consistently (2 ints) against possibly the best defense in the city.
Star quarterback Marcelis Tate (USF commit) returns for Fletcher with four years of starting experience. That means alot in High School football. Arguably the top dual threat quarterback in the city, he can take it the distance on film.
The 6’3 QB comitted to USF two years ago. Similar to his head coach Ciatrick Fason, he shows dependability and loyalty, something that his receivers love about him. He will have his best passing year this year. Last year wasn’t bad either, passing for 1771yds, 12 TDs: Rushing 709yds, 8 TDs.
#8. QB 2024 Riley Trujillo 6’3, 215lbs- Bartram Trail, UCF Commit
Last Week #4
Week 1 Away vs Ponte Vedra- This wasn’t the start statistically that Riley Trujillo wanted to his senior season, but he led his team to a win. Ponte Vedra is a good team this year, so passing for 104yds, 1 TD, will increase as the year goes on. He still had 76yds rushing and a TD.
The 3-star UCF commit Riley Trujillo, leads the Bears into his senior season at quarterback. He passed for 1,910yds and 15 TDs, but also ran for 710yds and 5 TDs. He’s the #1 dual threat quarteback in Northeast Florida.
He led his team through the toughest district last year, lighting up the stats in several games. “He understands how to use trajectory better than most his age and throws a rather catchable ball over his target’s shoulders”– Andrew Irvins 247 Sports
