Northeast Fl- After a 3-1 win over Ed White this week on senior night, the Paxon Volleyball team secured it’s 9th win of the regular season. The win cemented a mile-stone for the program, and head coach Davina Brown. It’s the most wins a Paxon Volleyball team has won in nearly a decade.
In 2018, Paxon won ten games after securing two victories in the playoffs. But not since 2014 when the Golden Eagles won twelve games has the team won over 8-games in the regular season. It’s a true testament to the players who make up the team.
Seniors Addison Brown, Kennedy Waymer, Victoria Jones, Kynsi Kennison, Imani Haney, Zionah Shingles, have been instrumental leaders all season, and can pride themselves on helping to revive the Volleyball program at Paxon.

“I like the game because it’s a team sport, and I can communicate with my teammates, whilst I improve myself during the game, it’s alot of companionship”– Tora Sigulin
Paxon can now get ready with confidence for the Gateway Conference tournament, before preparing for districts the week after. They’ll be riding their best regular season performance into the tournamnet, hoping to make some noise aginst very good and talented teams.
