Murphy opened the scoring with a decisive layup, which set an early tone for the Mustangs. However, Ribault showcased their resilience and staged a comeback in the second quarter that saw them tie the game at 25-25 as the halftime buzzer sounded.
Emerging from the locker room with unwavering determination, the Trojans sustained their momentum throughout the second half, clamping down defensively and allowed the Mustangs only 13 points through the rest of the game. Ribault’s defense became a force to be reckoned with, the players forced turnovers and capitalized on those opportunities to extend their lead.
Caleb Williams (23.2ppg avg) led the Trojans’ offensive charge with an impressive 18 points, displaying both skill and finesse on the court. Jaheim Robinson added to the scoring prowess with 13 points, contributing significantly to Ribault’s offensive output. The team Despite Mandarin’s valiant efforts led by Dylan McLeod’s 16 points (14.8ppg avg), they were unable to overcome Ribault’s tenacious defense.
