Not to be outdone, the Tigers responded with a promising drive. Jackson’s quarterback, Jamarion Dixon, connected with Tayvion Lawson, who stretched for the end zone to tie the game at seven. As the second quarter drew to a close, Providence’s QB Mason Williams scrambled under pressure and found Jake Contner for a touchdown, allowing the Stallions to regain the lead, 13-7.

The offensive battle continued into the third quarter. Dixon threw his second touchdown pass of the night, this time finding Carlos Darwin in the back of the end zone. This score shifted the lead to Jackson, 14-13. The Stallions, however, remained composed. Mason Williams avoided a tackle to score another touchdown, putting Providence back in front, 20-14, as the third quarter ended.


Providence’s momentum continued into the fourth quarter when linebacker Ben Zelenka came up with a crucial interception, earning the turnover belt for his team. The Tigers, showing resilience, struck back with Anthony Jones taking a pass from Dixon all the way to the end zone, reclaiming the lead, 21-20.
