If you’ve followed us from day one, you know that we were the first media outlet to bring you multiple game endings on the same night, from different parts of the city and state. It was the introduction of “Real Time” action to Northeast Florida, so fans didn’t miss the exciting moments of the best games. We’ve continued that coverage even going into our 10th year. So as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, check out the Top 10 moments from the games we covered in 2023-2024.

 With less than a minute to play in the Class 2A Region 1 Final, Impact Christian Academy and University Christian found themselves knotted at 62 all. That’s when an unlikely hero stepped up for the Lions. Sophomore Ronald Clark received the pass on the right baseline, and dribbled left into the paint.

Clark would leap and hang in the air, while double pumping a layup around defenders as the ball rolled into the basket at the buzzer. The crowd would erupt as Ronald raced to end of the court to tell the UC fans goodnight and goodbye. University Christian was going home, and Impact was going to Lakeland after the 64-62 win.


2. Bradford defeats Pensacola Catholic At The Goaline <– Click For The Full Story By Andre’ Ellis

There was one more play that Bradford needed, and the ball was in quarterback Daejon Shank’s hands. Said Shanks after the game, “no one else was going to touch the football on that play, just put it on six” said the senior athlete. Six happens to be Shank’s jersey number. Trailing Pensacola Catholic 21 to 20 in overtime, and with one untimed down, Bradford would indeed put it on Shanks.

With one second remaining in the game, and the ball on the 1-yard line, Raines needed a touchdown to win the game trailing Riverside 24-20. Head coach Donovan Masline decided to go with his quarterback for the last play. Said Masline, “we knew they would key on Mark (Miller) so we put the ball in Ty’s hands”.

Senior Ty’ren Randolph would take the ball on the direct snap from the shot-gun, follow the crushing blocks of Solomon Thomas, Antonio Allen, and Jaivyon Holmes, sweeping right to plunge across the goal-line for a walk-off touchdown as pandemonium ensued


4. St. Johns Country Day Baseball wins the state championship<– Click For The Full Story By Andre’ Ellis

All year the St. Johns Country Day Spartans have had a big play from one of their big time playmakers at the plate. For example, the Spartans advanced to the Final Four when Kyle Boylston hit a game tying home run versus North Florida Christian in the Regional Finals. This paved the way for George Gilson, who delivered a 2-run walk off homer to give his team the 8-6 win to advance to the Final 4.

In a clash that will be remembered for years to come, the Bolles Bulldogs and the Trinity Christian Conquerors battled it out under the cloudy sky of George H. Hodges Stadium. It was a game of highs and lows, heart-stopping moments, and incredible displays of athleticism. When the final whistle blew, it was the Bolles Bulldogs who stood triumphant, picking up a monumental rivalry win with a final score of Bolles: 26 – Trinity: 21

 In an intense game that left fans on the edge of their seats, the Creekside Knights pulled off a stunning upset against the previous undefeated Mandarin Mustangs Friday night.


7. Creekside Over Fleming Island<– Click For The Full Story By Andre’ Ellis

In a wild second half that saw Creekside and Fleming Island trade a combined 10 touchdowns between each other, Creekside was able to outrace Fleming Island to victory 49-48. The game would come down to the final seconds. This frenzied back and forth affair saw terrific touchdowns, and torturous turnovers, and a last second field goal to determine the outcome.

With less than two minutes remaining on the clock, the Senators orchestrated a masterful offensive drive. Quarterback Marcel Tate showcased his precision with a picture-perfect pass to the waiting arms of Anthony Vaglienti, who secured his second touchdown of the night. The pivotal two-point conversion attempt was executed flawlessly, propelling the Senators to a thrilling 20-19 lead.


10. First Coast Over Fletcher<– Click For The Full Story By Andre’ Ellis

In overtime, First Coast would get the ball from the 10-yard line knowing what they needed to win. Their first play was a designed run by Tisdale down to the Fletcher 3-yard line. They’d entrust their running back Auston Harris who already had 2 scores to get into the end-zone for the score, as First Coast tied it up 27-27.

The extra point was next, as the pressure was on First Coast’s junior Lennoirs Linder. However, he wouldn’t flinch in the moment. Perfect all day, Linder would be perfect in the most crucial moment, booting the 19-yard kick through for the game winning point after. The team would rush the field, hoisting Linder in the air as First Coast secured the 28-27 victory over Fletcher.
