Biography

With 1,873 passing yards, and 18 passing touchdowns, quarterback Rodney Tisdale Jr took Northeast Florida by storm his junior year and first year as a starter. He was instrumental in leading First Coast to the playoffs in 2022, turning the Bucs around from a winless campaign the season before. Tisdale is poised in the pocket. Standing tall and naturally spinning the ball with accuracy to receivers. Five different receivers eclipsed the 200-yard mark on the season, and all five caught touchdowns from the talented quarterback.

Tisdale was predicted to take his talents to another level in 2023, building on his impressive junior performance where he was named 1st team all conference. Tisdale in his senior season, passed for over 2348 yards and 26 touchdowns and just 8 ints.

With offers from Florida Atlantic University, Troy University, and Georgia Southern University, Tisdale chose Western Kentucky to play college ball. He’s one of the top quarterbacks in Northeast Florida to watch this year.
