Jacksonville Fl- Two interceptions in the first quarter by A.J Alicea helped Bishop Kenny take a 21-7 halftime lead over visiting Bolles who was playing at home. Because of the weather and wet field conditions, the game was relocated to Bolles from Bishop Kenny and the start time was pushed back. Although Bolles was in familiar territory on their home field, they found themselves in unfamiliar territory in the game as Kenny looked for just their second win over Bolles in over forty years.
The game started out very different as both teams traded scores. Four star wide receiver Naeem Burroughs caught a touchdown pass from Ethan Drumm as Bolles went up 7-0 in the first quarter. Kenny would respond, when JP Donovan took an end around to the house for a score. The extra point was no good and Bishop Kenny trailed Bolles 7-6.
The Crusaders answer right back! With and end around to JP Donovan for a TD!

After the turnovers generated by Alicea, Bishop Kenny would turn them into points thanks to running back Caleb Mattison. Mattison first scored on a 21-yard touchdown. He’d then top that by bursting threw the Bolles defense for a 53-yard touchdown, and just like that Bishop Kenny led 21-7 over Bolles.
Bolles would come out of halftime motivated, turning an 80-yard drive into points to cut the Kenny lead to 8 points 21-13. However, Bishop Kenny would respond when quarterback Derek Heideman connects with JP Donovan on a 21yd TD pass to extend the BK lead to 28-13 over Bolles with 4:22 left in the 3rd Quarter.
Ethan Drumm would settle down and lead his team on a remarkable second half display of football. A long touchdown pass by Drumm would get his team back into the game trailing 28-21 after a successful 2-point conversion.
Bolles would once again drive down the field, yet this time it was time for senior Emmett Grzebin to take control of the game. The big time back would rush for two touchdowns in the second half. His first came with 9:32 in the 4th quarter. Grzebin’s second would put Bolles ahead for good 35-28, as the Bulldogs completed a bullish comeback to defeat Bishop Kenny in a home away from home.
Bolles improved to 3-0 on the season and will face Oakleaf next week. While Bishop Kenny fell to 3-1 and will welcome Beachside
