That’s Two In A Row For Terry Parker, As Braves Run Past Kenny And Yulee

Jacksonville Fl- After starting the season 0-4, Terry Parker has found their groove winning two straight games. On Monday, the Braves mounted a comeback to upset Bishop Kenny 32-28. In that game, Kenny led 28-20 with 4:26 left in the third quarter but Parker put on a show in the last 15 minutes of the game.

Tony Kennedy passed for 2 touchdowns, but used his legs even more effectively to move his team into scoring position. He would finish the game with 3 rushing touchdowns, and 210 yards rushing in the game to lead his team to the comeback victory.

Friday night against Yulee, Kennedy picked up where he left off. He threw a touchdown to Malakhi Lewis for a touchdown to put Terry Parker ahead 7-0. Santroy Wilson has complimented Lewis on the ground for Parker to champion the ground game this season.

Kennedy would find Andre Moore in the endzone in the second quarter to extend Parker’s lead to 26-13 over Yulee. It capped off a first half of continued playmaking ability by Parker. Sidonie Limehouse has over 200 yards receiving and a touchdown on the season. Jaiden Tomlin has over 200 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns on the season. They are coming together at the right time, October.

On defense, Joris Gibson (56) leads the team in tackles, along with Leonard Perry (42). Jakhari Cooper was instrumental in the win over Bishop Kenny and has played a big role all year he leads Parker in sacks. While Tobi Olugbemi, and Michael Hills have controlled the airways leading the team in interceptions with 2 a piece.

Head Coach Michael Holloway and staff have done a great job of motivating their players and game planning for their district. With the win over Bishop Kenny, Parker is in the driver seat for a potential playoff birth or a district tie breaker with Menendez, a team they fell to earlier this season. It’s been a difficult season for Terry Parker after the passing of their former head coach Char-ron Dorsey earlier in the year. Yet, after a tough start, and two straight wins, they are now playing with faith that better days are truly ahead.
