Several local teams won their districts advancing to the 2024 FHSAA Volleyball playoffs. There also were several teams that won a bid to the playoffs, and made the most of their opportunity. #6 Mandarin v #3 Lake Brantley
Mandarin fell to Lake Brantley in the first round of the playoffs 3-0. Mandarin battled in the first two sets, losing 25-21, and 25-20. In the final set Lake Brantley pulled away 25-16. It was a great season for the Mustangs. Senior Paige Wind led Mandarin in kills with 292. Isabella Gomez leads the team in assists (404). The Mustangs finished 19-6 on the season and 3-0 in district 7A-1 as champions. Julia Howard lead the team with 58 aces and 353 digs. Rayna Joquin (36 blocks leads team) all have contributed mightily.

#5 Creekside v #4 Hagerty
Creekside was the district 7A-1 runners up, but made the playoffs as a pretty high seed due to strength of schedule. They found themselves in the 4-5 matchup, facing Hagerty. The 15-6 Knights led by Vivian Scuteri with 207 kills, and 46 blocks. Killian Burnett has 297 digs, and 39 aces. Lindsay Hopkins has 532 assists headed to Oviedo Florida. Unfortunately, the Knights were overpowered by the Huskies 3-0. Still, it was a great season for Creekside, with great wins for the team.

#8 Fletcher v #1 Gulf Breeze
The Senators once again were one of the best teams in the city and representing the Gateway Conference in the playoffs. Katie Issendorf is a star on the court with 329 kills. Keely Pou (49 )and Lila Waite (42) are leaders in aces. Pou has been the ultimate assisting compliment with 841 assists. Kaylynn Stokes led 40 blocks. Karleigh Tiglao had 32 blocks, and Addison Hilton achieved her 500th dig of her career, finishing the year with 495 for the season. She has 914 for her career. Unfortunately, the Senators fell to Gulf Breeze 3-0 ending their great season.
