Jacksonville Fl- The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation, and Jaguars Prep held an exclusive invite only Prospect Camp this weekend. Day 1 (Friday) featured some of the top athletes in Florida, including local top prospects, and ones from Central and West Florida.

The Friday camp featured 14U Boys & Girls, as well as 17U Girls participating in tackle football, and flag football drills. The camp featured only skill positions, including quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, defensive backs, and linebackers.

Danielle White led Florida High (FSU High) in receiving with nearly 700 yards on the season and 12 touchdowns. She also rushed for 303 yards and 6 touchdowns. As a top prospect, White also excels on defense. Her 10 interceptions as a sophomore showed her incredible knack for finding the football. There’s no mistake why she was named one of the camp MVPs for Friday.

Other Camp MVPs from Friday’s session include:

The camp conducted several stations and coaches evaluated each prospect to grade their athletic ability and overall viability as a top prep prospect. It also showcased some of the top players in Tackle and Flag football.

Young and promising 14U prospects such as Gerald Watson locally of James Weldon Johnson Middle School, along with Jordan Viveiros from Palm Coast, Florida showed that the Jaguars Camp brought out athletes from near and far.

Some of the top 14U athletes also were on display at the camp such as Eden Carabello, Rajon Riley, and Adron Grey. Grey is currently a freshman at Riverside high school where he is already making an impact on the field. He was spotlighted by Duval Sports last year as a top player to watch after helping guide Springfield Middle School to a Duval County Middle School Championship.

In Flag Football 14U and 17U prospects turned heads of coaches and trainers. Izzy Murray of Ponte Vedra really stood out at the prospect camp Friday night. The multi-sport athlete has good height and showed off her large catch radius in drills. Courtney Jordan of Baker County showed great athleticism during drills, which was a strong indicator why she received the exclusive invite to the Jaguars Prep prospect camp.

Fleming Island sophomore safety Audrey Ellis led all Northeast Florida freshman in interceptions last year at Paxon high school. She along with Isabella Romero (Bartram Trail), and Julia Conroy (Ponte Vedra) impressed with their ability to change direction quickly, avoid would be tacklers as ball carriers, and pull flags consistently as defenders.

Finally, the Friday session featured one of the top quarterback prospects in the state of Florida. Braylon Cage Jr of The Villages Charter near Ocala, Florida, is just in the 8th grade, but the 14U talent is already being sought after by several schools.

Cage Jr showed arm strength, mobility, and impressive size for his age. He possessed a fluid throwing motion with a physical and durable frame. It will be greatly anticipated to see where he takes his talents next year.

Special thanks to the Jaguars Foundation, Jaguars Prep’s Adriel Rocha and all the coaches, volunteers, and Jaguar Prep staff for putting on a great Day 1 camp. Day 2 will be held Sunday. It is invitation only and is expected to feature over 150 athletes in three sessions.
