Beyer and Iturralde Lead the Way
Under Head Coach Jason Hughes, Tocoi Creek has put together an impressive 20-7 season. A big part of their success comes from their top scorers, Audrey Beyer and Gabi Iturralde. Beyer has been unstoppable all year, averaging 19.4 points per game, while Iturralde adds 13.3 points per contest. Beyer was named FACA District Player of the Year.

Their playoff run has been nothing short of spectacular. In the Sweet 16 against Lake Howell, Beyer exploded for 28 points, while Iturralde dropped 20 to lead the Toros to victory. They followed that up with a dominant 68-34 win over Winter Springs, where Beyer had another monster game with 25 points. Asiana McCreary contributed 16 points, and Iturralde showed off her playmaking skills with 7 assists.
Tough Challenge Ahead
Now, Tocoi Creek prepares for a big showdown with Bloomingdale (23-5) in the Class 6A state semifinals. The Bulls are an offensive powerhouse, averaging 66.6 points per game. They have multiple scoring threats, including Noelle Mengel (14.3 ppg), Izellah Kendrick (12.3 ppg), and Jayla Griffin (10.1 ppg). Mengel, who is committed to the University of Tampa, will be a key player to watch.
