Northeast Fl-The 2025 Flag Football season might be the most competitive across the board in recent memory. Every team has the potential to beat anyone any week. That’s certainly the case in many matchups as there have been upsets, and surprises including two teams still undefeated. Check out the power rankings below.
- Clay (6-0) -The Blue Devils are undefeated and have defeated teams like Dunnellon, Middleburg, and Ridgeview. Their schedule isn’t particularly tough, but their victories have been extremely impressive. Tests against Fleming Island and Florida School For The Deaf and Blind will tell a lot about this team by seasons’ end. They are extremely experienced, having advanced to the State quarterfinals last year. QB Teaghan Moses, WR Yuliana Garcia, WR Cora Parker and WR Charlotte Andrus have led the team this year.

2. Fleming Island (6-1)– Senior quarterback Devon Dudones leads a young and hungry group of Golden Eagles including, junior LB Daisy Fletcher, sophomores WR Emily Poucher, and RB Audrey Ellis, and freshman DB Seven Gourdet. Defense has been their hallmark, holding five of their seven opponents to one score in regulation. Their only loss came at the hands of a very good New Symrna Beach (8-2) team. Yet, since week 1 Fleming Island has won 6 straight including ones over top teams like Mandarin, Paxon, and Bartram. Showdowns with local top teams Ed White and Clay are on the horizon of a very difficult schedule.

3. Mandarin (7-2)– The Mustangs are once again one of the top programs in the area, led by junior Reese Holman, Mandarin mixes intensity and ingenuity which has helped them achieve 7 wins so far. Powerhouse Alonzo, and top area team Fleming Island are the only teams to best them. While they have defeated Baldwin, Baker County and even St. Augustine this past Monday. Yulee and Bartram Trail are formidable opponents left on the schedule. They’ll lean on quarterback Grace Brown, RB Shadae Reid and WR Bridget Martinez to continue making plays for them.

4. Bradford County (6-0)– The Tornadoes are one of two undefeated area teams. Led by junior quarterback Arnayshia Griffin, and senior RB Nichelle Brown, Bradford has been able to put up big numbers this year in a high powered offense. They’ve scored a 51-0 win over Kipp, a 36-6 win over Ridgeview, and a 34-0 win over Suwannee. They don’t necessarily have a deep roster which is why they aren’t listed higher on the power rankings, but it’s undeniably evident that they are an extremely talented team. Florida High and Ed White are top teams left on their schedule. This team has a chance to shoot to the top.

5. Ponte Vedra (10-1)– Winners of nine straight games, Ponte Vedra is one of the hottest teams in Florida. Tocoi Creek, Bartram, Fletcher, and Davenport have all been devoured by the Sharks this year. Yulee is a test on tap for them in the coming weeks, but the Sharks got a big victory over St. Augustine fresh off Spring Break. Izzy Murray (QB), WR Peyton Gruver, WR Julia Conroy, and WR Taylor Burke, have been play makers for Ponte Vedra. The Sharks early slip up against Stanton is the only reason they come in at 5 on the power rankings and not higher.

6. Yulee (8-1)– One of the most exciting teams to watch, and impressive teams on the field this year has been the Yulee Hornets. Yulee has taken down Orange Park, rival West Nassau and Baldwin being their best opponent. They fell to the Florida School For The Deaf and Blind early in the year, but since have won 8 of their last 9 games including 6 straight. Junior quarterback Brooke Reid, RB Kamilya Johnson, WR Rheyna Hilton, and WR Jyra Bowen round out a deep and talented roster. Mandarin, Stanton and Ponte Vedra highlight a very tough ladder part of the schedule.

7. Fletcher (6-2)-Look out, here comes Fletcher hot out of the Spring break with a big win over Ed White 21-0 on Tuesday night. Fletcher has played one of the hardest schedules in the area, taking on Stanton, Ponte Vedra, Paxon, and Ed White. Going 2-2 with that gauntlet isn’t bad, and the Senators are gaining momentum at the right time. Captains Jasmine Cross, Kaiylssa Sepulveda, Katelyn Peoffer and Helena Jeager helped lead them to the Regional Finals last year. Arabella Thomas is another dynamic weapon on a very dangerous team. Atlantic Coast is next before the Gateway Conference Tournament.

8. Ed White (6-2)– Three consecutive shut-outs have the Commanders, commanding attention in Northeast Florida. Wins of 32-0 over Raines, 25-0 over Baldwin, and 18-0 over Middleburg are immensely impressive, and worthy to have this team in the Top 10. However, an early season upset loss to Sandalwood, and a recent shutout at the hands of Fletcher taints their otherwise unblemished record. The talented QB Kara Jackson, WR Ariel Campbell, WR Zykeria Luellen, and WR Amera Bossard have powered their wins. A team with speed who will bounce back.

9. Paxon (4-3)-The Golden Eagles of Paxon are once again a top 10 team in Northeast Florida, even though they’ve lost several seniors and key players from last year. Still, returners like quarterback Elyanna Perez, WR Caelyn Carter, DB Ana Rogers, and RB Sonara Ramsey have stepped up big for them. They’ve put together impressive wins against Stanton, Suwannee, and Wolfson. Heartbreakers to Fleming Island and Fletcher as well as a loss to state powerhouse Alonzo makeup their three losses. Baldwin, Tocoi Creek, and Sandalwood are on deck before the Gateway Conference tournament which this team has the potential to win.

10. Bartram Trail (6-4)– Quarterback Kaila Pierce, RB Layla Davis, WR Bralynne McDonald, and WR Riley Abelon lead a Bartram Trail squad who has navigated six wins in an extremely tough schedule. They defeated Bishop Snyder last night, and defeated St. Augustine, and Menendez earlier in the season. Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra, Fletcher and Spruce Creek were top area opponents that the Bears played tough but fell to. Still, their talent and toughness is reason why they round out our top 10.

Best of the rest: Stanton (6-3), Sandalwood (5-3), Tocoi Creek (4-4), University Christian 4-0, Ridgeview (3-3)
