Andre’ Ellis is founder of DuvalSports.com, and also serves as a lead writer. His experience in playing and coaching sports in Northeast Florida on the youth, middle school and prep levels, drives his passion to write uplifting and enlightening stories showcasing the unique talents and accomplishments of student athletes and artist in the area. Andre’ was a Team Captain and Florida Times Union All City Football Player at Sandalwood High School. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University and the University of Phoenix earning a bacelors degree and M.B.A
Dr. Michelle Ellis has been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. In that time she has worked with a diverse client base within residential, outpatient, school, and in-home service delivery. Her experience as a high school volleyball player was impactful to her development as an adolescent. This has fueled her desire to help student athletes recognize and address their wellbeing and mental functioning in addition to physical performance in sport. Dr. Ellis is a graduate from the University of Central Florida (PhD), Duquesne University (MS), and Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (BS)
Ben Myers is a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Jacksonville University, where he is a graduate assistant under Dr. Michelle Ellis. Ben has been in the education field for over seven years, teaching at public, private, and international schools in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Jacksonville, Florida. He is committed to mental health advocacy and helping student-athletes balance and strengthen their personal well-being with their athletic performance. His experiences as a high school and collegiate athlete helped him develop an understanding of the unique challenges that athletes face, both on and off the field. Ben is a graduate of Clemson University (BA).
Asia Maye, proudly hails from the heart of Alabama.
As a former athlete she knows what it’s like to dream big in a small, rural community where recruiting attention can be scarce. That’s why she embarked on her photography journey with a mission in mind to help shed light on the incredible talents hidden in the underexposed corners of the sports world.

Heather Isbell is a photographer and coorespondent with Duval Sports. She is an advit sports fan who captures moments of every position from many different sports. As a loving mother, Heather has placed her kids in several sports including golf, cheer, football, wrestling, volleyball and more. She values the importance of team sports, and the life lessons they help teach, to grow our youth.
Christian Schultz brings in-depth hands on knowledge to sports in NE Florida as a former game-winning football kicker for Sandalwood High School. He also was stand-out soccer player, yet now he stands out with his eye-catching photography as well as media coverage and writing.
Chandler Dantzler is an intern with Duval Sports, studying sports journalism and social media. He is a 17 year old entrepreneur, starting a podcast called “Where’s Home Podcast” in May of 2023. Chandler is looking to make more connections that lead into photography and videography. When Chandler isn’t creating, or being homeschooled as a Junior in high school, he’s knocking in runs as a baseball player for St John’s Country Day School in Orange Park Florida.
