Brittney Jennings

She’s one of the most prolific championship hurdlers Northeast Florida has ever seen, and she’s not finished. Sandalwood senior Brittney Jennings has accumilated several championship medals in just three and a half years of high school compitition. She’s a 2-time Bob Hayes Invitational 100M hurdles champion, running a 13.98 in 2022, and a 13.80 most recently at the 2023 meet. She’s also a 2-time FHSAA District Champion in the 100M hurdles, and a 2-time 100M hurdles Gateway Conference champion. She placed 3rd in the FHSAA state championships as a sophomore in 2022, with a time of 13.92.

While achieving the distinct designation as top hurdler in the state of Florida at the Florida Relays in 2022, Jennings also competed in the USA U20 Championships, running a 13.79 in the 100m Hurdles. Her undeniable progression is evidence of her hard work, determination, and sheer athleticism, as Jennings continues to hurdle the compitition as one of the best in the nation. Jennings committed to The University of Miami on Octoer 11th 2023.
