Dylan Cook

Dylan Cook, in  just his second start ever, passed for 3 touchdowns to three different receivers, 0 interceptions, and led St. Augustine to their first win over Bartram Trail in five years. Cook serves as the backup quarterback for St. Augustine, but the way he’s played as a starter has proven that he could start for every other team in Northeast, Florida. In two games, Cook has passed for 7 touchdowns to just 1 interception, all while galvanizing his team to wins. 

Cook is undersized at 5 foot 9, but he has a big arm for his size, and is an intelligent football player knowing how to use his legs when the pocket collapses to get first downs. Cook proved that he is no Rudy situation, he can flat out play, earning Duval Sports Player of the Week Honors for Week 5 for his performance against St. Augustine. He has the ability to play college football if he chooses. If his number is called again he;” keep putting up impressive numbers and getting attention.
