Sean Wilks

“He’s tough, he’s relentless and can be counted upon to make a play”. These are the words from coaches and teammates of quarterback Sean Wilks of Englewood. The 2023 athlete is the starting quarterback for the Rams, leading them to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2015. Wilks was in Elementary school the last time Englewood was 2-0. His play has galvanized the team. Against Menendez, he tossed 2 touchdown passes including the game winner with less than a minute on the clock. He also uses his legs well, converting a crucial first down on 4th down to extend the game winning drive and running in a 2-point conversion. Wilks has tossed 4 touchdowns on the short season, and looks to continue making plays to help his team win.
