Sydney Roundtree

With several D1 offers already on her resume, Bishop Kenny guard Sydney Roundtree has already turned the heads of college recruiters. Offers include Ohio State, UNC Greensborough, Georgetown, and Marshall.  At 6’0 with long arms and great size, Roundtree stands out on the court immedietly when you see her. She frustrates guards and swing players with her ability to block shots and quickness to generate steals. Averaging 7.3 ppg her junior season, Roundtree showed a glimpse of what is to come for her in 2023-2024. In the Class 4A State Championship game versus 4-time defending champ Lake Highland Prep, Roundtree doubled her scoring average with 14 points. She showed aggressiveness and versatility, scoring down low in the paint, but also knocking down a step-back 3-pointer. She has the “IT” factor as college coaches have clearly already seen in camps and workouts. Look for a break-out year in 2023-2024 where she shows the complete arsenal on the court.
