Biography

Our 2023 Week 7 Player of the Week is Fletcher Wide Receiver Anthony Vaglienti. The 6 foot 2 play-maker went off against Ed White, scoring two touchdowns on just 4 receptions. His most dramatic and impressive catch came with just seconds left in the game, when Vaglienti went up and caught the game winning fade to the end-zone. Vaglienti caught the pass matched up against excellent coverage, but was able to adjust mid-air for the score. This is an example of the elite wide receiver skills he possesses and that were on full display. He finished with 4 catches for 90 yards and 2 TDs, helping to lead the Senators back from a 19-6 deficit.

Vaglienti scored 5 touchdowns in the last 3 weeks, with consecutive weeks with 2 scores. He finished with 444 yards receiving and 6 TDs. He signed with West Florida, and they’re getting a top tier talent at the wide receiver position, who will turn heads as the next level.
