Biography

Locking down one side of the best secondary in Florida was senior Antoine Belgrave-Shorter. The talented defensive back had career highs in tackles (72), PBUS (8), and Interceptions (4). He grabbed 3 interceptions as a junior and has the most interceptions the last two years combined on the team. Takeaways are one of the main reasons Mandarin was able to make it all the way to the state championship game, and Belgrave-Shorter was a big part of that production on defense. He’s had back to back seasons with a interception that he took to the house, making Mandarin one of the highest scoring teams in the state with their ability to score on defense. A true playmaker and shut down corner.

Belgrave-Shorter signed with Penn State and is already making plays in their spring game as a true fresman.
