Position Linebacker
Camilo Rollins was the fiercest run stopper in Northeast Florida in 2021. He amassed 129 tackles, 94 of them solo, and 4 sacks. In a unit of exceptional defenders, Rollins was the true centerpiece of the bunch. His ability to clog the middle and snuff out the run forced offenses to abandon their ground game and pass out of desperation. That opened the door for two of his teammates to lead the state in sacks (Orlando Holland) and Jamil Jones interceptions (10). Rollins led the team in tackles and also came in on offense at fullback to plow open holes in short yardage. In my opinion, he was the most important part of the team and is a main reason for their advance to the state semifinals.
Rollins continued his playing career at the next level at Webber, where he appeared in 1 contest.
