There’s no other quarterback in Northeast Florida that can change an entire game with one single play like Cibastian Broughton of Fleming Island. The 2025 dual threat quarterback can toss a 75-yard pass for a touchdown, or turn a drop back scramble into a 75-yard touchdown run. He’s displayed this several times in high school, including in a week 9 contest against Creekside High School where Broughton finished the game with 221 yards passing, 5 passing TDs, with 156 yards rushing and 2 TDs. His 7 touchdown performance earned him Duval Sports Player of the Week.

He finished his junior year with 1,800 passing yards and 1,200rushing yards. Broughton is rated a 3-star quarterback by 247 sports with 9 D-1 offers including ones from Bowling Green, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia. He is rated a 5-star recruit by Duval Sports, and is one of the most dynamic players at the position the area has ever seen. He earned 2022-2023 Duval Sports Prime Time Player Honors
