Biography

Devonte Lyons of St. Augustine has been the bell cow back for the Jackets. Lyons rushed for 1,568 yards and 27 TDs on the season. He had an incredible playoff run.

Round 3: 27 car 133 yds 2 TDs, 2 Rec 37 yds.

He picked up an offer in the playoffs as well from FIU, to go with others from Temple, and Georgia Southern. Lyons was the unquestioned leader on offense as a senior, captioning St. Augustine with its extremely talented roster all the way to the state championship game. Lyons made first team All-St. Johns County, First Team Times Union First Coast Team, and a First Team Duval Sports Prime Time Player.
