Biography

A complete physical specimen at linebacker was Raines two sport athlete Jamari Whitehead. He played for Coach Donovan Masline where he had 94 tackles as a senior. The backer excelled at rushing off the edge and totaled 19.0 tackles for loss with 14 sacks. Whitehead achieved first-team All-Gateway Conference honors leaving Raines as with the fifth-most sacks in the storied school’s history. Was ranked the No. 149 linebacker in the country by 247 Sports and the No. 180 linebacker by On3. A 4-star, First Team Duval Sports Prime Time Athlete.

He signed with Georgia Southern in 2023, playing in five games, for 35 total snaps as a true freshman.
