Biography

Josh Patterson follows a long line of incredible athletes at Ed White whose last name is Patterson. Two brothers, Jaison (Bowling Green) and Davaughn ( Wake Forest), made their marks not only at the school, but in the state as two of the best to come out of the program of late. Well Josh Patterson just may best them both, as the longest starter with the most gams played , but also the most superlatives achieved by an athlete.

Patterson finished with 3 interceptions, 4 pass defensed, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in 2023. Over the last three years as a starter, no other player has more interceptions (7) on the team. Offense is also an area Patterson excels, catching 3 touchdowns on just 7 receptions when asked to switch sides of the ball.
