Biography

Marcus Peterson quickly became one of the most sought after athletes in the country after his first game against Trinity Christian. He went from 0 offers to 30 offers over night and rightfully so. Colleges saw what we did, a 6’4 200lb athlete who had 205 yards rushing, 286 yard receiving in, and converted to quarterback later in the season to pass for 637 yards with 17 combined TDs in 2020.

In 2021 caught 40 passes for 537 yards and six TDs. He was asked to play EVERYTHING for Columbia and he did. Peterson played QB, RB, S, Punter and even basketball. I believe basketball is his first love, but the gift he has on the football field is 5-star worthy.

He signed with Cincinnati to play college football and Redshirted in 2022.

Peterson transferred to McNeese St in 2023, as the Cowboys get a huge addition to their program with big play Peterson.
