Biography

Nicknamed ” The Joker” Marcus Stokes is always considered the ” Wild Card” when he steps on the field. He’s a duel threat quarterback with deceptive speed, who can get the ball down field to his targets. He makes lots of plays in crunch time and plays with tremendous confidence. Has played basketball at the high school level.

As predicted by Andre’ Ellis of DuvalSports.com Stokes had a tremendous breakout junior season for Nease. He led the Panthers to the playoffs with a 9-4 record, their first playoff win since 2008. He led the team in both passing and rushing yards tossing 2,672 yards with 22 touchdowns, while rushing for 496 yards with 6 touchdowns. Finished 2022 with 1,778 yards passing w/ 13 TD’s and 580 yards rushing and 13 TD’s in 10 games. His 2 full seasons as starter Stokes accumilated 4,498yds with 58 total TD’s rushing and passing.

Stokes committed to the University of Florida July 7th 2022 after flipping from a commitment to Penn State in April.

Stokes signed with West Florida on National Singing Day February 2023.
