Biography

The area’s leading rusher in 2022 was Middleburg’s TJ Lane. “Night Train Lane” rushed for a whopping 1,986 yards and 18 TDs. He finished as the #7 leading rusher in the entire state of Florida. Lane also added 110 yards in receiving on the year. Amazingly, Lane accomplished all of this while splitting time in the backfield for the first five games.

Lane committed to The University of West Florida, culminating a great senior season, which now continues into a college career. Lane made First Team All-State, and is a Duval Sports First Team Prime Time Player.

Lane saw playing time in three games as a redshirt freshman … Had 10 carries for 61 yards scored his first collegiate career TD!
